Editorial How we make
our content.
Every recipe, article and calorie page on IDYORA is signed by one of our desks.
A desk is a section of the IDYORA team, not a person. Here's what each one covers and exactly how its work is made.
We use AI, and we say so
Most of our writing is drafted with AI. We don't hide that. What we control is what goes into it and
what it has to pass before it's published:
- Research first. Articles are written from published research, and every source is listed on the page with numbered citations.
- Claims are checked. Automated checks test each cited claim against its source and flag anything the source doesn't support.
- No medical claims. Anything that reads as a claim that food cures, treats or prevents a disease, or tells you to change medication, is flagged and not published as written.
- Numbers are never generated. Calorie and nutrient values come from food composition data, not from AI.
Our content is general information about food and lifestyle. It isn't medical advice. If you're managing a health
condition, talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before changing how you eat.

IDYORA Recipe Desk
Healthy Indian recipes, step by step
Written with AI from a photo of the dish, then approved by our team before publishing. Nutrition is calculated from the ingredient list against food composition data, not estimated by AI.
IDYORA Food Data Desk
Calories and nutrients in Indian dishes
Numbers come straight from the Indian Nutrient Databank (INDB) and are never generated. The page text is written automatically, and dish names and serving sizes are checked by AI before publishing.
