## Ingredients

### Main Ingredients
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup boiled kala chana (black chickpeas)
- 1/2 cup capsicum, finely chopped
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped

### Spices & Dressing
- 1 tbsp cold-pressed oil
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

## Method

1. **Roast Sweet Potatoes.** Toss the cubed sweet potatoes with a little oil and salt. Roast in an oven or air fryer at 200°C until tender and slightly golden brown.
2. **Prepare The Base.** In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled kala chana with the roasted sweet potato cubes.
3. **Add Fresh Aromatics.** Add the finely chopped capsicum and red onion to the bowl for crunch and freshness.
4. **Season and Toss.** Sprinkle the roasted cumin powder and chaat masala over the mixture. Add the lemon juice and toss everything gently until well combined.
5. **Garnish and Serve.** Garnish generously with fresh coriander leaves and serve warm.

## Tips

- Ensure the kala chana is well-drained before adding to avoid a soggy chaat.
- For extra flavour, you can lightly sauté the capsicum before adding it to the bowl.
- If you prefer a spicy kick, add a finely chopped green chilli to the mix.

## How to serve

Serve immediately in a bowl with an extra wedge of lemon on the side to squeeze just before eating.
